Work out why someone can’t see part of the Studio, get a person back in, and take access away cleanly when they leave.
- 01A staff member can’t see part of the StudioThe sidebar shows only what a person’s role allows and what your platform has switched on. Check their role for the permission that opens the page, then check the feature switch.
- 02I forgot my Studio passwordAsk an administrator, or anyone who can manage staff, to set a new password on your account in Staff Members. Admins need another Admin to do it.
- 03It says I can’t remove the last administratorYour platform always keeps at least one Admin. Give the Admin role to someone else first, and they can then change or remove the old account.
- 04Broadcast settings are asking for a separate passwordThat’s the broadcast console lock, which protects settings that could take a broadcast off air. Enter the console password to unlock for 2 hours. Your staff password won’t work there.
- 05How do I find out who changed something?Open the activity log from the Recent activity card on the Dashboard. Filter by record type and date, and each entry names the staff member who made the change.
- 06Someone left. How do I remove their access?Delete their account in Studio → Management → Staff Members. Their Studio sessions end at once, and so do their sign-ins to the streaming and scoring apps.
- 07A crew member or scorer can’t sign in to their appCrew and scorers sign in with their own staff email and password. When the app refuses them, their role is usually missing the capability for that app.
