02/ 07WITHOUT IT

  1. 01

Moving tonight’s game above last week’s replay means a ticket, a deploy and a wait nobody on the production team controls.

  2. 02

The volunteer who only posts a score gets the same login as the person who can see every payment — or no login at all.

  3. 03

And when a page vanishes on a Friday night, nobody can say who changed it or what it said before.

03/ 07HOW IT WORKS

The Studio is laid out around the jobs your team actually does, in the order they do them.

  1. Step 01

    Start on the dashboard

Revenue across five time windows, visitor totals, 15 inventory counters, the most-viewed title of all time, and a needs-attention strip for pending orders, unread messages and draft posts.

  2. Step 02

    Drag the homepage together

Stack a hero slider, content rows, a sponsor-logo carousel and pop-ups. Drag to reorder — it saves by itself and the public site follows within seconds.

  3. Step 03

Hand out exactly the access each job needs

Invent a role like “Game Day Producer”, tick its capabilities from the permission matrix, and the sidebar rebuilds itself for everyone who holds it.

  4. Step 04

    See who changed what

Edits, deletions, logins and settings changes land in an append-only activity log — with the staff member, their role at the time and a before-and-after of every field.

04/ 07WHAT IT DOES

Every capability below ships in the Studio, and every one is usable by someone who has never opened a code editor.

01

A homepage assembled, not coded

13 content sources for a row — from live events, series and radio to rosters, teams and a hand-picked list — in 4 layouts: carousel, grid, a full-width hero bar with its own button, or a three-column editorial block.

02

Rows that fill themselves

Leave a row on auto and it pulls the newest match: live right now, upcoming only, one category, one tag, featured only or one team. A pinned item pushed back to draft drops out instead of showing a broken card.

03

A front page that curates itself

Sliders, rows and pop-ups retire themselves on your site’s own clock. Hero slides build themselves from your events, and a 24-hour, 3-day or 1-week look-ahead keeps the front page about this weekend.

04

A media library people can search

Nested folders, drag between them, preview video with a scrub bar, search by name, title or alt text, and compress every image on upload. A clashing filename is numbered, never overwritten.

05

Settings that go live on save

24 screens in 6 groups — appearance, locale, content, integrations, security and system — including 20 feature switches. No rebuild, no restart, and every change is audited.

06

Roles you invent

43 permissions in 15 groups, plus 2 everyone always has. Staff land on the first page they’re allowed to open, and guardrails stop anyone promoting themselves or deleting the last administrator.

07

An audit trail across 54 record types

Creations, edits and deletions, plus logins, role assignments, password resets and announcement sends — each linked to the record and filterable by type and date range.

08

Analytics without an outside account

Page views, content views, unique visitors and signed-in views with period-over-period deltas. Connected TVs are counted as TVs, and the report exports as a PDF in your name and colours.

09

Announcements that show the count first

Pick everyone, viewers, all staff, one staff role or newsletter subscribers, see exactly how many people will receive it, then send by inbox, email and phone push. Sends over 50 ask you to confirm.

  • A front page that leads with this weekend, not a fixture three months out
  • Rows that never show a broken card for something you pulled
  • Pop-ups and banners that come down on the date you set
  • Announcements that say the same thing in the inbox, the email and the push
  • Your words everywhere — “Fixtures” instead of “Events”, if that’s what you call them

Questions operators ask

No. Sliders, rows, the carousel and pop-ups are dragged into order in the Studio and save by themselves, and the public site follows within seconds. There is no deploy step.
