Add and manage staff accounts
Create a Studio account for each person on your team, give it a role, reset a password, and remove access the moment someone leaves.
Everyone who works in the Studio — producers, editors, marketing coordinators, finance staff, camera crew — needs their own staff account. Staff accounts live in Studio → Management → Staff Members, separate from your audience’s accounts in Users. To open the page, your role needs Manage staff members & assign roles.
Add a staff member
- 1Start a new account
Go to Studio → Management → Staff Members and select NEW STAFF. The Add Staff Member panel opens.
- 2Enter their details
Fill in Full name and Email. The email can’t already belong to another account on your platform, including a viewer account.
- 3Pick a role
Under Role, select one of the role buttons. Every role from Roles & Permissions is listed — see roles & permissions.
- 4Set a password
Enter a Password of at least 8 characters and type it again in Confirm password.
- 5Create the account
Select CREATE STAFF. The Studio confirms the person has been added to staff.
- 6Hand over the sign-in
No invitation email is sent, so give the person their email and password yourself, in person or through a secure channel. They sign in on the Studio sign-in page.
Find and edit a staff member
Search with Search by name or email…, or filter by role using the chips above the list. The table shows Member, Role and Created, and your own row carries a YOU badge.
- 1Open the account
Select Edit on the person’s row. The Edit Staff Member panel opens.
- 2Change what you need
Update the name, email or Role. To reset their password, type a new one into New password (optional); leave it blank to keep the current one.
- 3Save
Select SAVE CHANGES. A new role applies to everything they open from then on.
Remove someone’s access
Select Delete on the row. The Studio asks “Remove staff member?” and warns that their sessions will be revoked immediately and that this can’t be undone. Select REMOVE to confirm. To remove several people at once, tick their rows and use the bulk delete.

| There is always an Admin | “You cannot demote the last remaining admin.” and “You cannot delete the last remaining admin.” |
| You can’t remove yourself | “You cannot delete your own account.” |
