Wording, logos and colours, menus, link previews, your domain, image quality, maintenance mode and footer pages — fast fixes when your site doesn’t look the way you set it.

  1. 01How do I change a word or label on my site?Rewrite it in Studio → System → Settings → Locale → Translations: search for the words you see, edit the row and save. The new wording is live straight away.
  2. 02I changed my logo or colours, but my site still shows the old onesColours only change after you click Apply colors, and light and dark mode each have their own logo. Once you’ve saved, reload your site in a private window — browsers hold on to old copies, especially the favicon.
  3. 03A menu item disappeared from my siteMost often its module was switched off in Studio → System → Settings → Content → Features. Switch it back on and save — nothing was deleted.
  4. 04My shared link or search result shows the wrong title or imageA shared link shows the item’s own title, short description and artwork. Fix those on the item, make sure it’s published, and share a fresh link — apps and social networks remember old previews for a while.
  5. 05My custom domain isn’t workingThere’s no domain field in the Studio — your address is connected with the TKDS team during setup. Most problems are DNS records that aren’t added yet, haven’t spread yet, or an older record still in the way.
  6. 06My images look soft or blurry after I upload themImages longer than 1600 px are scaled down to 1600 px, and anything over 500 KB is re-saved at lower quality to shrink it. Busy photos and text inside images suffer most — re-export at 1600 px as JPEG or WebP and replace the image.
  7. 07Visitors see a holding page instead of my siteMaintenance mode is on. Open Studio → System → Settings → System → Maintenance and click Bring site back online.
  8. 08A page is missing from my footerThe footer lists only pages that are Published and set to Visible in footer. Open the page in Studio → Library → Pages and check both.

No. The main menu follows the modules you have switched on, so it never points at a page that doesn’t open. Pages you create appear in the footer.
