v2.7.6WHAT’S NEW

What changed for your team and your audience, release by release. Your platform picks each one up automatically.

  1. v2.7.6

    Discount codes on form fees

The Forms add-on takes a discount code at the fee step, with the total worked out where nobody can tamper with it.

    • newScope a discount code to form fees from Management → Coupons — every paid form, or only the forms you name. Codes made for subscription plans don’t start working on forms by themselves.
    • newApplicants type the code on the form and see the discounted total before they pay. The fee and the discount are worked out again on the server from your saved form, whatever the browser sends.
    • newA 100% code waives the fee: the submission goes straight through, and the ledger records the fee as waived rather than missing.
    • improvedThe code box appears only on forms a live code actually applies to, so nobody hunts for a discount that doesn’t exist.
    • improvedA code counts as used only once the payment settles, so a single-use code isn’t spent by someone who opened checkout and changed their mind.
    • improvedForms with a monthly fee are marked as not taking codes when you scope one, so a first-month promotion can never turn into a permanent price cut.
  2. v2.7.5

Arabic, right to left, end to end

Arabic arrives across the whole platform, alongside new controls for who can watch, what the homepage hero shows and how your notifications read.

    • newArabic ships alongside English and French, right to left across the viewer site, the Studio, emails and phone notifications — mirrored layout, flipped directional icons and a typeface drawn for Arabic. Switch off any language you don’t use and it disappears everywhere.
    • newSystem → Notification Templates: rewrite the title and body of all 22 automatic notifications in each of your languages, switch one off, or silence just its email or push. One wording drives the inbox, the email and the push, and a variable that notification doesn’t receive can’t be saved.
    • newSettings → Content → Viewer Access: require an account to watch or read anything, free content included, while browsing stays open. A second switch gives clipping or reel posting to signed-in viewers with no plan, when those add-ons are installed.
    • newTell the homepage hero how far ahead to look from Home → Sliders — 24 hours, 3 days, a week or your own window. Event slides outside it drop out and return as the date approaches; hand-made slides and anything on air always stay.
    • newAn optional logo watermark over the player on every stream and recording: three sizes, any corner, off by default.
    • improvedThe events table shows when each broadcast ends and edits start and end times in place, with a Today filter on your site’s own clock. Venues now appear on hero slides and Event Hub cards too.
    • improvedPrinted Forms responses render Arabic correctly, print uploaded photos and carry a scannable barcode of the reference number.
    • fixedReplays of encoder-push events play in the TV and mobile apps with every part in order, and on-demand titles show their full release date on cards, the watch page and the title page.
  3. v2.7.4

Audience numbers that include the living room

Analytics now count the people watching through TV apps, embeds and shared links — and the Studio dashboard opens without the wait.

    • improvedAnalytics headline tiles and the dashboard include the live audience watching through TV apps, embeds and shared links, not only visitors who opened a page on your site.
    • improvedThe dashboard opens in a moment instead of several seconds, however much traffic your platform has behind it.
    • improvedFeed Hub statuses load together, so one unreachable feed no longer holds up the whole page.
    • fixedA replay keeps its event’s artwork and release date, even when the recording lands first. Only missing details are filled in — a poster or date you set is never overwritten.
    • fixedEvents that were never saved through the event form now keep their generated poster, so their replays don’t come out blank.
    • fixedA broken snippet pasted into Custom Code can no longer take down the site or the Studio — it simply doesn’t run.
    • fixedThe dashboard’s needs-attention strip no longer flags work in a section you’ve switched off.
  4. v2.7.3

    Recurring subscriptions and free trials

Plans renew on their own through Stripe and Square, trials collect the card up front on Stripe, and members can cancel from their own account.

    • newRecurring subscriptions on Stripe and Square: the card is kept on file and renewals happen on their own. PayPal stays available for one-time purchases, and checkout hides it on a renewing plan.
    • newFree trials on Stripe, up to a year long. The card is collected without being charged, the first charge lands when the trial ends, and a viewer can’t take the same trial twice.
    • newMembers cancel renewal themselves from their account page and keep the period they already paid for. On a trial, the page shows the exact date the first charge will land.
    • newThe Forms add-on can charge a recurring monthly fee through Stripe — membership dues that renew without anyone chasing them.
    • newAn athletes directory: every athlete on your platform, on a team or not, filterable by age, GPA, position and gender — plus an optional GPA on each athlete’s card. Off by default.
    • newOn-demand titles gain a Watch trailer button. Trailers from your media library — on shows, seasons and on-demand titles — play in your own branded player, with no ads in front.
    • improvedThe Event Hub’s header cards count the whole hub, not just the page you’re looking at.
  5. v2.7.2

    Forms blocks and cleaner routing

New display blocks and a calmer payment return for the Forms add-on, and routes on the routing board that carry the stream where you drew them. This entry also rolls up 2.7.1.

    • newTwo new Forms blocks: a banner image from the media library, and any of your Marketing → Web Ads slots.
    • improvedBack from paying on a form, applicants see a “confirming your payment” screen instead of an empty form, then a success card with a reference they can copy in one tap.
    • improvedEvery label on the player card can be reworded and translated from the Translations screen.
    • improvedAnalytics count only pages that really exist on your site, so mistyped and junk addresses stop crowding the top-pages leaderboard.
    • fixedA route drawn on the routing board now carries the stream all the way to its destination feed.
    • fixedThe push address crew receive for their encoders, and every route on the routing board, always point at your own platform — with nothing to set by hand.
    • fixedThe options editor for choice fields takes as many options as you need.
  6. v2.7.0

    Player tagging, Forms and Ticketing

Tag the people in your content, switch the sports tooling off when you don’t need it, and add two new add-ons: Forms and Ticketing.

    • newTag players on events, on-demand titles and articles. Each tagged player gets a public page listing everything they appear in, and tagging a team brings its players along — nobody names eleven people to say a video is about a match.
    • newRunning concerts, services or corporate video? Switch off “Is platform sport” in Settings → Integrations → Platform and the fixture fields, team tags, scoring and sports taxonomy leave your Studio, while Genres and Cast & Crew stay. Nothing is deleted — switch it back and every tag returns.
    • newThe Forms add-on: a drag-and-drop form builder with a review workflow, drawn signatures, conditional fields, save-and-return, and fees collected as the final step.
    • newThe Ticketing add-on: sell admission to the event itself, with ticket types, barcoded tickets scanned at the gate, sponsors and sales reports.
    • newReel posting can be granted by the site-wide switch or by a plan, and a viewer who could post by subscribing is told which plan allows it.
    • improvedWhen a form payment is refused because of a setting — a currency minimum, for example — the payment provider’s own explanation is shown instead of a generic error.
    • improvedSite-wide search keywords hold around a hundred terms.
    • fixedGenerated posters no longer come out with blank team crests when your site is opened with or without “www”.
  7. v2.6.9

    Team pages that grow themselves

Tag content with a team and the team’s page fills itself, plus sharper homepage rows and a handful of Studio fixes.

    • newTag events, on-demand titles, articles and reels with teams. Every team page grows Live Now, Upcoming, On-Demand, Blog and Reels sections from what’s tagged, and leaves out any that are empty.
    • newPoint a hero slide at a show, an on-demand title or an article, searching your whole catalogue rather than its first page.
    • newGive a hero-bar row its own button label and colour, and switch the author byline off on individual articles.
    • improvedHero-bar rows use landscape artwork instead of stretching a portrait poster, and titles over artwork stay readable in both light and dark mode.
    • improvedReel cards show a cover taken from the video’s first frame.
    • fixedStaff without dashboard access land on the first page they’re allowed to open.
    • fixedHero slides can be dragged into order as soon as the Sliders page loads.
  8. v2.6.5

    SRT feeds

Bring a feed in over SRT for crews on unreliable connections. This entry also rolls up the 2.6.2–2.6.4 updates.

    • newAdd a feed pushed over SRT, built for crews on unreliable connections. Its connection settings are shown on the feed page, ready to copy into the encoder.
    • improvedAn SRT feed works wherever a normal feed does — events, live channels and as a source on the routing board — and plays back exactly the same.
    • newFilter the Feed Hub and the Event Hub down to SRT feeds with their own chip.
    • newTeam pages gain an About section, plus a website and phone number that appear once you fill them in.
    • fixedSaving a subscription plan works on every platform, whichever add-ons you have installed.
    • fixedBot protection on contact pages behaves exactly as it does on sign-in, sign-up and password reset, so no visitor meets a check they can’t complete.
    • fixedReuse a deleted feed’s stream ID for a new feed without an error.
  9. v2.6.1

Clip, Reels and the review camera

The first add-ons arrive — Clip and Reels — with a review camera for replay officials and roster positions you define yourself.

    • newThe Clip add-on: a scissors button in the player. Entitled subscribers grab the last 10, 15 or 30 seconds of a live stream, or cut up to 30 seconds from a recording, and keep them on a personal My Clips page.
    • newThe Reels add-on: a vertical short-video feed that puts unseen reels first, with loves, comments, shares, author profiles, search and viewer submissions with optional moderation.
    • newA review camera feed type for replay officials, who sign in and receive only the review cameras.
    • newDefine your own roster positions — Players, Coaches, Staff — drag them into order, and team pages show one row per position.
    • newPublish an event’s approved comments as a feed vMix can read, so audience comments can go on air.
    • newShow or hide public view counts for each content type from Settings → Content → Features. Hiding a count never stops the counting, so switching it back shows the real total.
    • improvedThe analytics PDF carries your brand name and colours, and now includes the referrer table.
  10. v2.6.0

Live scoring and the automated camera

Score a game from a phone, film one with nobody behind the camera, and give every team and player a page of their own.

    • newLive scoring from a phone. A scorer signs in to the scoring app, runs the score, the clock and the period, and every viewer sees the change within seconds.
    • newLocked finals and a permanent history: a final score freezes until an administrator reopens it, every accepted change records who made it, when and the before and after, and two scorers can’t overwrite each other.
    • newScoreboards show penalty-shootout strips with a dot for every kick, and amber added-time chips with their own running clock.
    • newThe automated camera: choose it as an event’s source and it records the whole scheduled window with nobody at the venue.
    • newTeams and player cards: public team pages tinted in the team’s colour, and player profiles with a portrait, jersey number, star rating and trophy gallery. Teams and players can be homepage rows too.
    • improvedAt the scheduled start, the watch page swaps the countdown for the player on its own — no refresh, no black screen.
    • improvedAn ended event stops streaming even for a viewer who left the page open, and its Watch button gives way to an “Event ended” label.
    • fixedContent switched from paid to free no longer shows a plan badge.
