The score isn’t updating on my site
Quick answer
Pages pick up a new score on their own within seconds. When nothing moves, usually no live source is running, or a scorer’s numbers are replacing the ones typed in the Studio.
Check this first
- 1Wait 15 seconds
Viewers’ pages check for a phone score every 10 seconds and a venue scoreboard every 15. Nobody needs to reload.
- 2See which source is on
Open the event in Studio → Content → Events and look at the Integrations card: the live scoring tile, the venue scoreboard tile, both or neither.
- 3Ask whether the scorer has started
A phone-scored event keeps its countdown until the scorer makes the first change in the app.
- 4Check the event is still Active
While Status is Inactive, the scorer’s changes are refused.
- 5Check the final isn’t locked
A finalized score doesn’t move until an administrator reopens it.
Likely cause and fix
