My images look soft or blurry after I upload them

Quick answer

Images longer than 1600 px are scaled down to 1600 px, and anything over 500 KB is re-saved at lower quality to shrink it. Busy photos and text inside images suffer most — re-export at 1600 px as JPEG or WebP and replace the image.

Check this first

  1. 1
    Check the source size

Export artwork at 1600 px on its longest side. A bigger file is scaled down anyway, so it gains nothing.

  2. 2
    Check the format

Save photographs as JPEG or WebP. They keep far more detail at 500 KB than a PNG does.

  3. 3
    Check the shape

Crop to the slot you’re filling. Slot names say the shape — on an event, Poster (square) and Banner (wide).

  4. 4
    Replace it

Upload the new file in Studio → Library → Media Library, swap it into the slot on the form — REPLACE on an event — and save.
