A page is missing from my footer
Quick answer
The footer lists only pages that are Published and set to Visible in footer. Open the page in Studio → Library → Pages and check both.
Check this first
- 1Open the page
Go to Studio → Library → Pages and open the page that’s missing.
- 2Check Publication
Set Publication to Published. A draft never appears in the footer.
- 3Check Footer link
Set Footer link to Visible in footer, then save.
- 4Check the order
Back in the list, drag the page to where it belongs. “Footer order saved.” confirms it.
Likely cause → fix
| What you see | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The page opens from its link but isn’t in the footer | It’s set to Hidden from footer | Switch it to Visible in footer and save. |
| The page doesn’t open and isn’t in the footer | It’s still a draft | Set Publication to Published and save. |
| It’s in the footer, just not where you expected | The footer follows the list order | Drag the rows in Studio → Library → Pages. |
| An old link to the page shows page-not-found | Its slug was changed | Update your links to the new address, or set the slug back. |
| Social links, app badges or copyright are missing | Those fields are blank | Fill them in under Studio → System → Settings → Appearance → Footer. |
| About, Terms or another page is gone from the list | It was deleted | Check the activity log under Page for a Deleted entry, then create it again with New page, using the same slug so old links work. |
| You can’t open Pages at all | Your role doesn’t include Static pages | Ask an administrator to add it to your role. |
