Manage site pages and navigation
Create About, Terms and contact pages, choose which appear in the footer, and understand what controls your site’s main menu.
On this page
Use this while setting up your platform and whenever you need a new fixed page — a sponsorship page, a code of conduct, a contact form for one department. You need a role that includes static pages.
How navigation works
| Place | What appears | How you control it |
|---|---|---|
| Main menu | Home, then Events, Schedule, Shows, On-Demand, Live Channels, Blog, Shop, Radio, Teams and Athletes, plus links added by installed add-ons | Switch modules on or off in Settings → Content → Features; rename a link in Settings → Locale → Translations |
| Footer | Your published pages, social links, app-store badges and copyright text | Pages from Studio → Library → Pages; the rest from Settings → Appearance → Footer |
The default pages
Every platform starts with four pages: About, Contact, Terms and Privacy. They carry a lock badge in the list, and their web address can’t be changed, so links to them keep working. Replace their wording with your own before launch.
Create a page
- 1Start a new page
Go to Studio → Library → Pages and click New page.
- 2Give it a title
Enter a Title. Slug (URL) fills itself from the title; shorten it if you like, using lowercase letters, numbers and dashes.
- 3Choose a template
Pick Plain for a title and formatted content, or Contact to add a contact form below the content.
- 1Write the content
Write the body in Content with the editor.
- 2Add recipients to a contact page
Under Email recipients, add each address that should receive messages. Leave it empty to use your site’s default email.
- 3Choose visibility
Under Publication, choose Published or Draft. Under Footer link, choose Visible in footer or Hidden from footer.
- 4Save and check
Click Create page, then View live to see it as visitors will.
Order the footer
- 1Open the list
Go to Studio → Library → Pages.
- 2Drag the rows
Drag pages up or down. The footer order saves itself, and your site’s footer updates without a reload.
Search and sharing for a page
Each page has an SEO meta section with a Meta title (it uses the page title when empty), a Meta description and a Social share image. See Search & social previews.
