Going live & streams

My automated camera isn’t showing on the event

Quick answer

An automated camera reaches an event through the AI Camera or C · CamScheduler source mode, and only staff whose role includes AI Cameras (see & use) can pick it. Check the permission, the mode, the feed and the window.

Check this first

  1. 1
    Check your permission

The AI Camera tile on events, and camera feeds anywhere in the Studio, only appear if your role includes AI Cameras (see & use).

  2. 2
    Check the source mode

In the event’s Stream card, AI Camera streams straight from an automated-camera feed. C · CamScheduler gives the event its own push address, and Camera names the camera that pushes into it.

  3. 3
    Check the feed

In Studio → Feed Console → Feeds, confirm the camera’s feed is Active and its type is AI Camera. Inactive feeds aren’t offered in pickers.

  4. 4
    Check the camera is live

Open Studio → Feed Console → Feed Hub and use the AI Cameras filter chip. A live card shows a moving preview; a grey card reads Idle.

  5. 5
    Check the window

Confirm the event’s start and end times cover the moment you’re checking, on your platform’s clock.
