Use this when marketing needs a tracking pixel, a search console asks you to verify your site, or you add a live-chat service for viewers or staff. It suits someone comfortable copying a snippet from another service’s setup page. You need access to Settings.

Choose how visitors are counted

  1. 1
    Open Analytics

Go to Studio → System → Settings → Integrations → Analytics.

  2. 2
    Switch it on

Turn on Enable analytics. While it’s off, nothing is tracked, whichever provider is chosen.

  3. 3
    Pick a provider and save

Choose Native (built-in) to keep visitor data on your own platform and read it in Studio → Management → Analytics, or choose the external provider and enter your Measurement ID. Then click Save changes.

  1. 1
    Open Custom Code

Go to Studio → System → Settings → Integrations → Custom Code.

  2. 2
    Paste the snippet

Paste into Header Code for things that must load first, such as verification tags and fonts, or into Footer Code for pixels and retargeting scripts. Add below anything already there rather than replacing it.

  3. 3
    Save and reload

Click Save changes, then reload your public site. New code takes effect on the next page load.

  1. 1
    Confirm it works

Open your site in a private window and use the other service’s own checker to confirm it sees your tag.

  2. 2
    Remove cleanly

To take something out, delete its whole snippet and save. An empty box adds nothing to your pages.

Add a chat widget

  1. 1
    Open Support Line

Go to Studio → System → Settings → Integrations → Support Line.

  2. 2
    Paste the widgets

Paste your visitor chat snippet into Public site widget and, if your team uses chat too, a different snippet into Staff dashboard widget. Leave a box empty to show no widget there.

  3. 3
    Save and check both

Click Save changes, then check your public site and the Studio.
