Sell tickets to your venue

Set up a ticket event with price tiers, capacity and a sales window, then sell barcoded tickets online and at the gate.

Ticketing sells admission to the event itself, not just the stream. A ticket event links to an event you already run on your platform, takes payment through your own payment providers and sends every buyer a barcoded ticket by email and PDF. Your gate crew scan tickets from a phone.

Set up sales and the ticket design

  1. 1
    Check your payment providers

Open Ticketing → Settings. Detected payment gateways lists the connected providers buyers can pay with. Press Recheck gateway after connecting a new one.

  2. 2
    Turn sales on

Turn on Public ticket sales so signed-in viewers can buy published ticket events, and Gate ticket sales if your staff will sell at the gate.

  3. 3
    Design the ticket

Under Vertical ticket design, set Main ticket background color, Accent / Admit One color, Barcode type, Sponsor logo / image and an Optional ticket background image. The same design is used on the web, in the email, in the PDF and at the gate.

Create a ticket event

  1. 1
    Create the ticket event

Go to Ticketing → Events and create a ticket event linked to an event on your platform. Fill in Venue, Venue address and Capacity, and set Sales start and Sales end.

  2. 2
    Save it first

Save the ticket event before anything else. Ticket types, prices and gate staff can only be added once it exists.

  3. 3
    Add price tiers

Press Add type for each tier — adult, child, VIP — and give it a Price, a Color and a Quantity limit. Each tier can go on sale in its own window.

  4. 4
    Publish

Set Publish status to Published. Buyers find it under Tickets in your site’s menu.

Run the gate

  1. 1
    Assign gate staff

Open the ticket event’s Gate Staff, choose a staff member and a Gate name, and press Assign Gate Staff. Gate staff only see the events assigned to them.

  2. 2
    Scan at the gate

Gate staff sign in on a phone with their staff account, select their event and scan each ticket’s barcode. Entry counts update live.

  3. 3
    Sell on the spot

With gate sales on, staff issue a ticket from the Gate Box Office for anyone buying at the door.

What buyers get, and where the money shows

  • Buyers sign in to purchase; their name, email and phone come from their account.
  • Each buyer gets a barcoded ticket by email and can download it as a PDF.
  • Turn on Admin ticket email to receive a copy of every ticket issued.
  • Ticket revenue is recorded in Ticketing’s own Transactions and Reports, separate from subscription and pay-per-view payments.
