Install an add-on
Enter your unlock code in System → Plugins, install the add-on and give your team access to it.

Installing is a job for an administrator: System → Plugins only appears for the Admin role. Install anything that changes how viewers sign in or pay outside a live event, and check your site straight afterwards.
Before you start
- An administrator account.
- The unlock code you received for the add-on. It looks like AB12-CD34-EF56.
- For add-ons that take money — Forms fees and Ticketing — at least one payment provider connected. See Connecting Stripe, PayPal & Square.
Install it
- 1Open Plugins
Go to Studio → System → Plugins. You’ll see a Redeem a code box at the top and a card for each add-on available to you.
- 2Enter your unlock code
Type or paste the code into Redeem a code and press REDEEM. When the code is accepted, the add-on’s card shows an Owned badge.
- 1Find the card
Use Search plugins… or the All, Installed and Not installed filters if the list is long. A card marked Free installs without a code.
- 2Install
Press INSTALL on the card. When it finishes, the card shows Installed and an on/off switch, and the add-on is already switched on.
- 3Find its screens
The sidebar refreshes without a reload. The add-on’s screens appear in the Modules section just above System, and any public menu link appears on your site.
Give your team access
Until you grant an add-on’s permissions, only administrators see its screens.
- 1Open the role
Go to Studio → Management → Roles & Permissions and edit the role that should use the add-on, or create a new one.
- 2Tick the add-on’s permissions
Add-on permissions appear in the matrix while the add-on is switched on. Tick the ones this role needs and save.
- 3Check what they see
Staff in that role now see only the add-on screens their permissions allow. A group whose screens are all hidden doesn’t appear at all.
