Look up an automatic notification

See every notification the platform sends on its own — who receives it, what triggers it and whether email starts on — and where to reword or switch it off.

MediaCore2 sends 22 notifications by itself, alongside the announcements you compose. Each arrives in the in-app inbox, by email and as a phone push, with one wording for all three. Reword any of them, change its channels or switch it off in Studio → System → Notification Templates — see notifications & announcements.

  • Every notification starts with in-app and push on. Email starts on only where the tables say Yes.
  • Recipients tune their own channels in their notification preferences. Rows marked Required can’t be turned off by the recipient; the templates screen shows them as Always on for the recipient.
  • Switching a notification off on Notification Templates stops it for everyone, whatever their preferences say.
  • Staff alerts go to people whose role holds a matching permission. Admins receive every staff alert.
