Add cast and crew

Cast & Crew is the list of people you credit on your content: presenters, commentators, performers, directors, producers. You add a person once, then pick them on any event, on-demand title or show, and their name and role appear in the credits. On a sports platform, players and coaches belong in Athletes instead (see the comparison below).

Add a person

   Open Cast & Crew

   Go to Studio → Taxonomy → Cast & Crew and click Add person.

   Choose the type

   Pick Cast for people on screen or on air, or Crew for people behind it.

   Give them a role

   In Role / sub-role, type how they should be credited, such as Director, Lead Commentator or Host.

   Enter their name

   Type the Full name as it should appear publicly. This is the only field you must fill in.

   Add the details you have

   Optionally fill Biography, Date of birth and Place of birth.

   Pick a photo

   Under Photo URL, click PICK and double-click a headshot in the media library. Use CLEAR to remove it.

   Save

   Leave Visibility on Visible and click Add person.

Credit people on your content

   Open the content

   Open an event in Studio → Content → Events, a title in Studio → Content → On-Demand, or a show in Studio → Content → Shows.

   Find the Cast & Crew picker

   On an event it sits in the Genres & people card. On-demand titles and shows have the same picker on their forms.

   Pick people

   Search by name and select everyone involved. Each person shows with their role, so you can tell two people with the same name apart.

   Save

   Click SAVE CHANGES. The credits appear on the public page straight away.

Find and tidy your list

• Search by name, role or biography from the search box at the top of the list.
• Filter the list to All, Cast or Crew.
• The status column shows Visible or Hidden for each person.
• Use the pencil to update a profile or swap the photo, and the bin to delete.
