Owners and marketing coordinators get asked the same question at every launch: “Can I watch it on my TV?” Your website, mobile apps and TV apps all run from the same Studio. A viewer’s account, plans and purchases follow them from browser to phone to living room with no separate setup.

Where your platform plays

WhereDevicesHow viewers sign in
WebsiteAny modern browser on a computer, tablet or phoneTheir email address and password, or a phone number when that add-on is installed
Mobile appsiOS and AndroidThe same account, inside the app
TV appsRoku, Apple TV, Fire TV and Android TVA QR code scanned with a signed-in phone, where the TV app offers it

What follows the viewer everywhere

  • What they can watch. One access decision covers web, mobile and TV, so a season pass bought on the website plays on the TV.
  • Their plan’s device limit, counted across every browser, phone and TV.
  • Your colours, name, logo and interface wording.
  • Which modules are switched on. Turn one off in the Studio and it disappears from the apps too, with no app update.
  • Which add-ons are installed.

Check every screen before launch

  1. 1
    Sign in on the website

Create a test viewer account on your site and give it a plan without paying. See Comping access.

  2. 2
    Sign in on a phone

Install your mobile app and sign in with the same account. Check your colours, logo and tabs.

  3. 3
    Sign in on a TV

Open your TV app and sign in by scanning the QR code with the phone. See Signing in on a TV with a QR code.

  4. 4
    Play something paid

Play a title covered by the test plan on each device. It should play everywhere without buying again.
