This is the everyday newsroom task: a match report, a feature, a club announcement. You need the Blog & articles permission, and the Blog switch must be on in Studio → System → Settings → Content → Features, or Blog & Articles is missing from your menu.

Write the article

  1. 1
    Start a new post

Go to Studio → Content → Blog & Articles and click NEW POST.

  2. 2
    Add the headline and excerpt

Type the Title — the only required field — and an Excerpt, the short summary shown on article cards.

  3. 3
    Write the body

Write in Body. The editor’s formatting matches what readers see on the published page.

  4. 4
    Pick a cover

Under Cover image, click Pick from Media Library and choose the image for the article header and cards.

  5. 5
    File it

Choose a Category and add Tags. On a sports platform, tag Teams and Roster members too, so the article appears on their pages.

  6. 6
    Fill in search details

Under SEO, add an SEO title and SEO description for search results.

The Studio
Studio → Content → Blog & Articles → NEW POST, with Title, Excerpt and Body filled in and a cover image picked in the sidebar.

Publish now or schedule

  1. 1
    Publish now

Leave Publish date empty and click PUBLISH POST. The article goes live immediately, stamped with the current time.

  2. 2
    Or schedule it

Set Publish date to the day and time the article should appear, then click PUBLISH POST.

  3. 3
    Check the list

Back in Studio → Content → Blog & Articles, the Status column reads Draft, Scheduled or Published.

Editing a saved article

Switch on Feature this post to place an article in the homepage blog block and at the top of the public blog list. The article list filters by status, access, category, tag and featured, and sorts by newest, oldest, most viewed or title.
