On this page
Producers and editors use this before planning the homepage, choosing a replay to push, or preparing a sponsor recap. Performance shows up in two places: a fixed 30-day snapshot on the Dashboard and a flexible leaderboard in Analytics.
Where to look
| Place | Window | What it ranks |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard → Top content (last 30 days) | Last 30 days | The top five in Event, On-Demand, Show and Blog post (its Live channel list stays empty) |
| Dashboard → Most viewed | All time | Your single most viewed title |
| Analytics → Top content | The range you pick | Up to 15 items across all types, or one type |
| Analytics → Top pages | The range you pick | Public pages by views and unique visitors |
Read the Top content leaderboard
- 1Open Analytics
Go to Studio → Management → Analytics.
- 2Pick a window
Choose Today, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or All time.
- 3Filter by type
In the Top content panel, change All content types to Event, On-Demand, Show, Episode, Live channel, Blog post or Product. Live channel and Product stay empty, because your website doesn’t record those views.
- 4Read each row
Every row shows the title, a type tag and total views, plus an average time watched when a player reports it — views on your website don’t. The shaded bar compares each row with the leader.
- 5Cross-check the pages
Compare with Top pages beside it to see whether people arrive at a title directly or through a listing.
How live events are counted
An event’s figure adds the views from your site to the peak number of people watching its stream at the same moment. That brings in people on TV apps, embedded players and shared stream links. An event watched only outside your website still appears on the list.
Turn the numbers into decisions
- Promote a replay that is still climbing a week after the event with a homepage slider.
- Give a strong episode or video a place in a homepage row.
- Check whether an article with few engagements has a clear headline and cover before writing the next one.
- Export the PDF report for the window a sponsor paid for.
