Collect and email your newsletter list
Collect email sign-ups from your site footer and send that list an announcement from Compose Notification.
Use this when marketing wants to reach people who asked for updates but may never have created an account. The newsletter list isn’t a separate mailing tool. Addresses are collected by the form in your site footer, and you reach them through the Newsletter subscribers audience on Compose Notification.
How sign-ups arrive
- The Newsletter field appears in the footer of every public page. A visitor types their email and presses the send button.
- They see Subscribed — thanks! No account is needed.
- Signing up again with the same address simply keeps it active, so there are no duplicates.
- If the address matches a viewer account, the sign-up is linked to that account.
Send to the newsletter list
- 1Open the composer
Go to Studio → System → Compose Notification.
- 2Choose the list
Select Newsletter subscribers and check the count on the card and in Recipients.
- 3Set channels
Keep Email on. In-app and Push only reach sign-ups that belong to an account.
- 4Write it
Add a Title, a Message and, if you want a click-through, an Action URL pointing to a page on your site.
- 5Send
Click Broadcast now. Lists over 50 people ask you to confirm with Yes, broadcast.
